280 Slides

280 Slides is a slide show site where you can make your own slide show for school projects, presentations, or just for fun. This site is really cool because it wasn't hard for me to figure everything out about how to add photos or anything else. I encourage more people to start using this site because if you have a project that needs to get done fast, this is the perfect site for you to make your slide show on. My slide show that I made was about this class and it is at the bottom of this post.

Glow Text

With Glow Text, you can type anything that you want and you can choose any color, font, style, etc. that you want and create it and you will have your very own text that glows! I made one that I thought was cool, it's at the bottom of this post. Glow text is a really quick and easy site to make glowing text on.

The Way Businessmen and I Use Social Media

Some businessmen use social media to make video clips, edit photos of their products, make surveys to send out so people can answer them, and much much more. Depending on their job, some businessmen might have to make cards or something on the internet and social media has helped me learn how to do many things that I never knew about on the internet, and im sure that it has helped a lot of people.

I use social media to just have fun and learn new things by going to sites and making videos, editing photos and putting them on facebook, and more. This was a great class and im glad I decided to take it because it was not only fun, but I learned about a lot of great internet tools that can help me.

Animoto

Animoto is a helpful site that you can go onto and make different videos that you would enjoy. If you just want to mess around and make a funny video, it is also good for that, too. I like sites like this because I like to make short, little, fun videos that I can show to my friends! Well, I hope that you get to go to this site and make a video of your own, but remember, HAVE FUN!!!!!

GO2WEB2O

GO2WEB2O is a helpful site because all you have to do is search for anything like photo for example, and then you get all of these sites off the internet that edit photos, make them funny, etc. I think that most people who like to make their photos fun by adding sayings or clip art or anything would enjoy this because it is really easy to find a bunch of helpful sites. For other people who want to look for a bunch of games, it is also helpful for that, too, all you have to do is search games and you get a bunch of results. This site is not only for photo editing sites, or games, it can also help search for anything like music, videos, twitter, blogging, traveling, and much much more. This is a nice site to explore, so please do so and have fun.

Newspaper Clipping

I think that the Newspaper Clipping is fun because you can make an article about anything that you want it to be about and just make it funny or anything. You could make a fake article and print it off with it saying something wierd and use it as a prank or whatever you would like. I hope you try this site and have fun with it because it is a lot of fun.

MakeSweet

MakeSweet is a site that you can take your pictures and upload them onto things like billboards, tvs, pumpkins, etc. to just have a little fun. This site would be helpful for someone who is married or dating someone and they want to make something special for their wife/husband or girlfriend/boyfriend for a present. They would be able to go onto this site and upload pics of themselves and their special someone onto something like a heart or something, and then when they were done, they could give it to them for a gift. It is also helpful for someone who wants to do advertisement because they could just upload a pic of their product and type the information on the pic and print it, and they have fliers or whatever they want. It can also be really useful for someone just wanting to mess around with some of their pictures of their friends or whoever.

WetPaint

WetPaint is a web site that helps people keep up with the latest fashions, shows, and more. I like this site because I am able to go onto it and look at some of my favorite shows like American Idol, The Secret Life, etc. This is very helpful in case I miss an episode or something. I also like to go on and look at what people have to say about the fashion of certain shows and people. I hope that you go to this site and enjoy it!

Apps.

The first app. that I chose to look at was Angry Birds, and it is a game where you have to launch birds over to this poorly built building, and when you hit the pigs inside the building you get points. When you have hit all the pigs you win, but you only get like three birds to launch. You can buy this for only $0.99, or you can get the FREE HD one!!!

The second app. that I saw was Sudoku, and this looks interesting because I like puzzle type games like this. This app. is FREE!!! In this game, you have to match up numbers 1-9 in each row, column, and square. It is much easier than it sounds, but I hope you enjoy.

The third app. that I chose to tell you about is one called Coin Dozer-Seasons. In this game you get one coin every minute that you play and they start you off with a certain amount of coins, but you have to wait for the thing to move to the back of the machine and then lay your coin where you want it to try to push a bunch more coins off the edge, and however many coins you push off the edge you get also. This app. is also FREE!!!

For my fourth app. I decided to go with an app. named the FREE Spanish Tutor. I chose this because I want to learn Spanish really badly and I took a class my freshman year, but I don't want to take another class for it. This would be a very helpful app. to have. Like it says in the title, it is FREE!!! All you have to do is sit there and learn a new language, and then later you can quiz yourself on this app. to see how well you are learning. There is also a FREE German Tutor and many others for things like Biology, Geometry, Algebra, Chemistry, Economics, Statistics, Trigonometry, U.S. Government, and tons more... The ones that do not say FREE, are, for the most part, $1.99.

For my fifth and final app., I did YouTubeFM because who doesn't like to sit there and listen to their favorite songs?. This app. allows you to search for any song or artist that you want to listen to and play songs, watch videos, and save songs. This app. is only $0.99.

Photo Editing

My first photo, was done on DUMPR, it is of one of my nieces, the second photo, I created on befunky, it is of one of my nephews and two of my twin nieces, and the last photo was made on PhotoFunia, and it is of another one of my nephews. I hope that you try these photo editing sites and that they are helpful to you because I enjoyed them.

Vacation

For my place to visit during my vacation, I chose Ridgecrest, California because I really would like to go see all of the different things that are in that area. I found many different places to stay, eat, and just have fun! The thing that puts it as number one on my vacation destination list, is that my brother, sister, and nephew live there and it would be nice to see them because it has been almost a year since I last saw them. The restaurants that I found to eat at are Mon Reve- a French restaurant, Casey's Steaks & Barbeque-a barbecue place, Maddy's Cottage-a Continental restaurant, Mickey's Pub & Grille-an American restaurant, Sizzler-American restaurant, Kristy_s Family Restaurant-an American and Mexican restaurant, Victoria's, Casa Corona-a Mexican restaurant, John's Pizza-an Italian restaurant, Cafe Potpourri-an American restaurant, Texas Cattle Company-a Steakhouse, Tokyo House-a Japanese restaurant China Garden-Chinese, The Golden Ox-American and Mexican, and Nickoletti's-an American and Italian restaurant. Some of the places that I found that looked like they would be fun to go to are China Lake Naval Weapons Center, Maturango Museum Little Petroglyph Canyon, China Lake Golf Course, Goler Canyon, Botany's Desire, China Lake Skatepark, Golden Valley Wilderness, Bertrand RV & Mobile Home Park, and finally Wild Horse and Burro Corrals. Well, I hope you have enjoyed this post and I  hope that I have persuaded you to want to visit Ridgecrest, California, too!!!

Google & Google Docs

I hope to soon be taking a trip to Ridgecrest, California because my brother, sister-in-law, and nephew live there, and I really want to see them. I hope to stay for about a week if I can, but I also have to find a friend that would be able to go. Their parents have to say it's ok. The reason I want to take a friend is because I don't want to go with my mom or dad. Anyways, this trip will hopefully happen and I hope it is fun if I get to go! Google helped me find the attractions that I wanted to learn about.

I like Google Docs because it is very cool. I think I would use this a lot for different projects and things. All you need, to use this, is a friend's email, so that you could influence each others ideas on something. You could have a big project, and you could share this with your friend before you turn it in and they might notice something wrong with it that you never noticed. Well, I hope you try this and enjoy it, too. I left before class was over so this was the only picture I could get (the picture to the right of the post).

Firefox Add-ons

One of the add-ons that  i found, that looked cool, was one called Smileysidebar and it allows me to see a huge amount of different smiley faces that are really awesome. If you want this add-on, you can click here. I hope if you add this add-on, that you enjoy it.

Video Chat

Video chat is a great way for people to communicate when they are far away from each other. This is a fun way to communicate besides cell phones. I would use this all the time. I think that this is a good thing to have because instead of sending a text or calling you can actually see each other and communicate!

IGoogle is a personalized  search engine that you can make your own. This site will allow you to change the picture of the background, add gadgets that you can search for, and so much more! This is a really cool site. For my background picture, I have chosen to make it a photo of three of my
favorite movies. For the background photo, you can either choose one from the list that they have, or you can upload a personal photo. This is a fun site that you can have jokes, games, animated pets, horoscopes, calendars, and so many more things to choose from. I have chosen to make my IGoogle have a lot of virtual pets like a hamster, horse, turtle, fish, penguin, hedgehog, chicken, llama, and many more. The reason I have chosen to add these virtual pet gadgets, is because I thought they looked like a lot of fun, and I figured I would enjoy them. I also added some jokes onto my IGoogle account there are also many jokes to choose from to add to your IGoogle, too. This site is not only helpful, but it is also fun because it is customizable. You can make it interesting by making it to show your own personality like editing the background photo, the gadgets, and many other things! I hope that you will try IGoogle, and I hope you enjoy.

Sketchfu

Sketchfu is what i used to make the picture to the right of my post (the penguin/bird). This is a fun site to go onto and make fun pictures. A lot of people use this site, and I hope you try it and enjoy it too!!! On Sketchfu, you can make different drawings and then watch how you made it by clicking replay. This is a fun and interesting site that I hope everyone tries at least once. It is up to you what you create on this site unlike others where you have to choose a picture. Symbaloo is a social bookmarking network that you can add different sites to. In symbaloo, I have a few sites like facebook, youtube, addicting games, friv games, and couple more. Symbaloo is a really good site if you dont want to have to type in all of the different websites. It is really useful, and I like to use it whenever possible. Gadget

A gadget is something that can be helpful or fun. There are many gadgets to choose from for your blog like fish, funny animal pictures, rhyme me, Turby the turtle, calendar, and much much more! On my blog i have chosen to add the fish, funny cat pictures, rhyme me,  Turby the turtle, and daily horoscope gadgets. These are very fun gadgets and i especially like the funny cat pictures because every time I log on, there is a new picture of a cat making a funny face, or it is doing some other crazy thing. Seeing these wacky cats puts a smile on my face. Gadgets are fun, so I hope that you add a couple special gadgets to your blog, too. Remember there aren't just a couple, there are thousands to choose from!!! Some gadgets can help you like rhyme me is a gadget that helps you find a word or words that rhyme with a specific word or phrase, but rhyme me isn't the only one that can help you. There is also another gadget that is a calendar, and it can help you by telling you what day it is, and what you have planned that day!!!

At the right of my post, there are two pictures i have created at ImageChef.com. This web site allows you to make different pictures or animations. When you are on this site, it allows you to change the shape of the text, the text, the text color, the background color, and so much more. If you are creative, i would suggest that you go to ImageChef and create your own picture or animation, like I did!!! This is a fun site that is good for people who like to make random pictures and post it on things like facebook, blogs, and more. In my opinion, this is a nice site to make pictures and post onto my favorite sites. I enjoyed going onto this site and making these awesome pictures, and I hope you try it out and like it too!!!

Word Cloud

I made my word cloud at wordle. A word cloud is a mixture of your own words that are jumbled and mixed into a page of randomly written words. With this you can change the color of your text, text font, and layout. The layout provides you with the option of having your words all vertical, all horizontal, most vertical, most horizontal, any which way, and so on. It also allows you to select whether you want round or straight edges on your words. This is a very fun project. On mine I mainly wrote random words, and things that are important to me. There are also some words to describe things that i think are fun to do.

An avatar is an animated person, symbol, or anything you want it to be to describe you. You could use an avatar when you have a yahoo account and you don't want to use a real picture of yourself, or when you have a blog, like mine, and for many other things and websites, too!!! When making an avatar, you are able to change the facial features, clothing, hair, accessories, and much much more! Making avatars is fun and easy! When i make one for myself, I always TRY to make it look somewhat like me, but sometimes that doesn't work. I enjoy making avatars for my different accounts. How Do I Currently Use Social Media?

While on the Internet, I normally go onto a couple different sites. When I go onto the Internet, I check my Facebook profile, listen to music on YouTube, watch funny videos on YouTube, play games, and much more! The websites that I enjoy the most, are mainly Facebook, YouTube, and Friv Games, but there are some others that i like too!
